wire a 12 gauge wire from the battery to a relay ( fuse this wire with a 20 amp fuse) thain from the relay to the fan run a ground from some where convinant 12 gauge to the fan
wires needed at relay positive battery positive switched power (powered when you turn on the ignitoin) ground and the wire that goes to the fan

You will need to get a switch and some wire.
Install the switch from the battery or preferred power source to the switch and the fan. Leave the fan grounded within the loop as provided.

Be sure to additionally ground the switch itself properly if not you will only pop the switch. I do recommend you get a lighted switch that will light up when you have it on.

Do not forget to get an inline fuse to add additional protection for the switch and the fan. this will be placed in between the power source and the switch I believe.

Find the leads from the rad fan motor going to the temp switch and cut them. Run a new wire from the pos of the battery to a new switch terminal in the car. Run another new wire from the other switch terminal right to the red wire of the fan motor. Then run a another new wire from the fan motor black wire right to the neg of the battery. Voila, directly wire fan.
