And when you discovered this you had to scrape it on the sidewalk or something or you didn't discover it till you got home?

Did you keep the shoes?

I have stepped in dog doo doo a few times in life. There's nothing worse than minding your own business walking down the street, perhaps getting in your car and smelling a putrid scent that can be nothing other than s hit. I remember one time I had a brand new pair of white k-swiss on, and I stepped in doggy diarrhea, which is much worse than the solid stuff. How was I supposed to see that loose dookey hiding in the grass? That sickly sauce ruined those shoes, I scrubbed them as best as I could and ended up keeping them.

Have you ever stepped in dog doo doo? Who hasn't? WARNING; NEVER go walking round the council flats of New Addington... there's dog muck in ALL the grass.
And when you discovered this you had to scrape it on the sidewalk or something or you didn't discover it till you got home? I scrape off as much as I can before I go home, then take them off before I get in and hose them and disinfect them.

Did you keep the shoes? This happened to my fave Buffalos... which I've had since 16 and cost me £80! Indeed I did keep them!

YES! It's so funny that you ask this. My dog crapped on the floor this morning and I stepped right in it, barefoot too! I've done it many time before, considering that my dog refuses to go poop outside. Once I was playing football with my cousin, barefoot again, in my neighbors yard; it was raining and I stepped in it, for some reason it didn't bother me (I was having too much fun) I just walked right over to the sidewalk and scraped it off and continued playing.

When I was 8, I got home from school and decided to go around the back and open the door when I usually enter the front, and didn't look down and I walked in the house! I was alone at that time and it took me 5 minutes after eating a snack going to the bathroom (even when I kept smelling someting funky) until I got to my room, laid in my bed, and took off my shoes and felt something soft and funky.

When I was a kid. A stepped on it without knowing, then scratched the side of my leg with my foot..that was wearing the "crappy" shoe. I was wearing white leotards at the time.

I walked around for a time wondering why I smelled dog crap everywhere..then someone showed me..not a very high self esteem moment.

I have two LARGE dogs and you would think I couldn't miss their "doggie dumplings" but YES!! Many times with and without shoes.
I just scrape off as much as I can then wash my feet with soap and water and if I had my shoes on...I rinse/scrap as much off as I can OUTSIDE then scrub the rest off in the wash tub and let them dry! No need to toss out those shoes just because of a bit of poo poo! :-)

Unfortunately yes, whilst wearing open toe sandals, I swear if the dog and owner had been anywhere near buy I'd have shoved my shoe where the sun down shine, dog owners who dont scoop the poop are ignorant T**ts.

The worst is whilst walking the children I look after and they always seem to find it, one poor little mite actually slipped on a bag of dog poop and cut her head, yeah thats right someone went to the effort of scooping and bagging the dog poo but then left the bag on the pavement! bloody idiot.

Yeah, and now I watch where I walk! I think I was a kid, and I felt the 'squish' right away and then scraped it into the grass as best I could. My mom said to leave my shoes outside, the poop hardened and you can simply 'break it out' by bending your shoes (OUTSIDE!) I guess I was poor, because we didn't throw our shoes away until they had holes in them or they didn't fit.
