tamarack58: all that I meant is that I wanted to know if I could find out the cost to buy plywood based on the amount that I need. Or how much plywood costs per sheet for 1/2" or 3/4" thickness. I have an area to cover that is 11'x4' wanted to know if there was a site that could give me the price of that.

Depending on what grade and species of plywood you need, the price could vary greatly. However, since you're doing a subfloor, and you live in Canada, I'm going to guess that you will end up with CDX grade Fir plywood. The C and D refer to the quality (number of knots, smoothness) of the two sides of the sheet. The X means it was assembled with exterior glue (somewhat moisture resistant). A 4' x 8' piece of 3/4" in the midwestern US at the moment is around $30 - $35 US. The 1/2" is around $20 - $25 US.

Building centres like Home depot do not have their prices on-line. Your best bet is to go directly to the store with details of your project and talk to the building materials specialists there. They will also guide you to the most appropriate material and size--they do it every day.

Do you want estimates for materials only or for replacement?

If for material only HD's / Lowe's website gives you pricing for the items they sell. If it's for replacement they will need to visually inspect before quoting.

(Try to be a little more specific in your questions so we know how best to answer.)

Wood prices are like the stock market. They change daily. This is why you need to call on the day you wish to purchase it.
