Maybe because the premise is getting old. The 1st, 2nd and 4th seasons were good. The 3rd was okay but the 5th season was really, really bad. I'm still giving the next season a chance since their moving it away from CTU.

It's just really inaccurate and unbelieveable. Like "chocolahoma" sited above (8 years ago), when does Jack Bauer use the restroom or sleep for that matter. No agent's sharp shooting skills and strategic planning are that accurate without sleeping for 48 hours - unless he is on cocaine and we don't want to go there. Real time is a misnomer as previously posted as well - no one person can be in all these places in one 24 hour period. The first season had 4-5 temporary directors take over the CTU in one 24 hours period - REALLY???? It's just not very believeable. Or at least save this kind of timeframe for the Super Hero groups.........

Jack Bauer's "magic" cellphone. He can be out in the desert. He can be on a plane over the ocean. He always has a signal, and it has super high speed Internet to download schematics and maps of all the bad guys' hideouts.

The "real-time" format is bogus. In one "day" he's in California, he's out in the Nevada desert, and he's in Washington D.C. confronting the President. The flight from LA to DC alone would take 5 hours. Also-- If its real time, when does Jack use the restroom??

Just a couple of quick notions. I quit watching that show years ago.

My vote is with jimmy d. My husband knows that I am not to be interrupted for ANYTHING while it is on. I usually record it while I watch it just so I won't miss anything, like a call from my grand-kids. I'm on the edge of my seat the whole hour. I'm sure you have to be an action type person to enjoy it. If you like chick flicks it's not your thing. I hate chick flicks.

It might be a little bit "out there", but you've got to admit it keeps you on the edge of your chair. I have'nt miss an episode, and look forward to the new season, I just hope they don't run out of ideas. Sure beats some of the garbage on TV!

It does not suckl. What kind of programs do you watch that you have to give such ugly comments about a wonderful innovative show - the best show on TV that is.

Can't help you. I like the show. It's not great, but it keeps the viewer interested.

I can tell you constructively that I also find it very sucky and boring. The reason? I have no clue.
