its an ideal but of course you can escape to remote places and avoid human contact. This is quite pleasant and i would call that an easy life surrounded by nature the trees rivers and mountains.

To live alone on an island... In society, f you work, you will be stressed, if you don't work, then you will be stressed because you have no money... I guess you could win the lottery or make a fortune somehow but other people will still cause you stress!
I think we should all buy an island in the middle of nowhere and just lay back and relax (mind you, we wouldn't have any food because we would all be too laid back to hunt hehe)
Life would be boring without any stress anyway.. the key is to try and minimise unwanted stress though by not causing petty arguments with people, keeping away from negative people, and just to try and live each day as it comes!

Life ain't meant to be easy, if we were not challenged on a daily basis I know I for one would be very board, I have just changed my work pattens and have no more money worries etc at the moment and I have never felt so lost in my life, Might go back to working full time just to get the stress back and feel normal. Gonna have to get a hobby I think. I'm all for a quiet stress free life just need to find the right balance of quiet and occupied.

A hard life and an easy life are subjective. However, once one has made a decision that they have a hard life they can make it far worse by dwelling on it.
Dwelling on how hard one's life is can often to lead to anger, resentment, envy and a variety of other unpleasant states. Worry is merely when we dwell on those things. Dwelling on bills doesn't get them paid, doesn't make them disappear, or make them get paid any faster. Dwelling/worrying about bills is a fairly pointless endeavour.
As to rules, if following the laws is a problem, there are mechanisms to change the laws that don't suit you.

Go live in the country.
Country New Zealand is the best place to do that in my opinion. Just AWAY from the world. NO TERRORISTS... NOT AS MUCH BILLS.
AY! thats the life!
LOL
Give me a thumbs up if you feel the same :-)

yes it is true you are having a moment of clarity, you have found a part of your trueself, it is possible to work and be relaxed all the time. first of all you must always be your trueself and realise that this is the most important thing in life, then you can be more relaxed.
there is a path, but i dont think the road is short do you?

You answered that one yourself.
Just chill out, relax and enjoy life.
Life is only as difficult as you make it. No one said it has to be difficult. We as a society are the ones who make it hard.

I did just that a couple of years ago. Quit the ratrace. Sold the house, bought a narrowboat to live on. Been chilled ever since.

Yes, the risks, hassles and uncertainties seem to be ever on the rise. Their impact on an individual however depends on the extent of his desires and aspirations.... one can considerably blunt their influence by cutting down on ambition.

Strangely, I now believe the only way to an easy life is to WORK HARD, and work for your self not for other people there are no guarantees of course
