I'd ask myself what would Jesus do in this situation, then when the answer came to me I'd do the opposite.

I would want the money to be returned to the person who lost it, so depending on where I was when I found the money, I would either hand it in to a store manager, to the "lost & found," or to the police. If I saw the person drop the money, I would let the person know about it. But if it was just pocket change or less than $10, I wouldn't expect someone to go out of their way to return that amount of money. Hopefully, the person who lost the money would check with the police, etc to find out if the money was handed in. Yet I wonder what the police, etc do with the money if it goes unclaimed in cases where it doesn't include a person's ID.

It depends how much, you can hand it into the police and feel a lot better about yourself as well as having a chance to claim the money back (I think it's after a week or something if no-one claims it). But to be honest I would be more likely to spend it :) No need to feel guilty, although you wouldn't like it to happen to you money is money, and street money is a bonus!

Depends on the circumstances hun, If it was laying in the street, I figure I would keep it, on a bus or in a shop etc I would probably hand it in. Again depends on the ammount if it was a lot of money, tempted as I would be to keep it. I would hand it in, as some one had that money for a reason, and I would hate to deprive them of somthing x

If I just found the money, I think I would keep it, but it depends, how much there was. If there was an ID, I would give the money back to the person.

If it was found with some form of ID then I'd hand it in, if not I'd probably spend it - sorry, but at least I'm honest!

It depends on the amount of money and whether or not I could live with the guilt of breaking the law!
If you find money, you are supposed to turn it over to the police - who'd probably put it towards their tea club, most likely!

I found a tenner outside the local post office last year. I handed it in incase it was a pensioner who'd dropped it. No-one claimed it and they gave it back to me a week later.
