In a few weeks I may very well be writing a short play for a professional theatre company to be performed in front of 400 people at a nearby theatre. I will be attending workshops for playwrights to devise a play with a disabled theme. The playwrights will have the opportunity to act!! That means, if I have the courage, I could very well be on stage acting at a local theatre!! I am going to voluteer. Some of the actors are disabled. I especially want to hear from other people involved in theatre or who have had some experience. I have written a few plays, but not acted in a professional theatre.
I will be so pleased to hear from you.

Go for it! And don't get too ahead of yourself. Just do the best you can!

Confidence and Faith are the best weapons. Don't worry, all will work out just fine.

Go for it. Professional acting is no different from any other kind of acting except everyone is expected to know what they are doing and to do it well and not cause any trouble. So suck up your courage and have a go. Ken the Doc
