i was at the cinema at the wkend watching death sentence with my bf (its a cert 18 which is a R rated film in usa). it was full of couples and then as the film was about 10mins in a man walked in with a 3 yr old girl and a little boy not much older. everyone started whispering as it was a violent 18 film and i wanted to tell him but my bf said he would soon figure he was in the wrong screening. well he bleeding well must have been thick cos he sat thru a 5 min scene where a group of men came into a petrol station screaaming the f word..then shot a mans head off then cut a guys throat open..there was blood everywhere and even i had my eye shut cos it was gory..it wasnt til a few mins after this scene ended he suddenly seemed to come to his senses and dragged his kids out. i mean how stupid can a father be? i was sooooooooo annoyed...i mean it was obviously the wrong film..why are some men so thick?

first thing first i went to watch it cos my bf wanted to watch it..lol. secondly you only go past the ushers to get into the cinema then you go to whatever screen the films showing so they dont see who goes into what...which is why some kids manage to sneak into higher rated movies or after they finish watching one film they sneak into another screen to watch another!

I don't know maybe he didn't know to pull his kids out because he didn't know the scene was coming...but thanks for the story that was entertaining.

But parents are getting worse these days, who lets their kids watch Death Sentence?

you fairly have lots of nerve asking your father to lend you cash to spend the night in a hotel at sixteen years previous... you're a newborn, and your father is in charge on your welfare. Letting you pass out and screw your boyfriend all night long on promenade night isn't a in charge discern's strikes. Your thinking seems to be somewhat skewed, as properly. Act like a woman, and be grateful you have a discern who would not choose for to tutor you right into a ho.

He wasnt a stupid father, he was a selfish father...he didnt care about his kids seeing a film like that, if he did he would never have taken them there in the first place.....then people wonder why kids turn out the way they do.

I saw Alien when I was about 10, the copy was so bad all we saw was 'snow' at the most exciting bits, as it was a pirate copy, also I remember thinking that the movie was really slow and boring, what I was later to learn means 'atmospheric' and 'tense', these movies are lost on children, where were the theatre attendants?

It's not just men, I've seen women do the same stupid thing.

They are oblivious and I believe a little too self-absorbed.

Then again why to movie makers take what should be a family or kid movie and make it too adult?

Very stupid.

Reminds me of all the times I've seem women putting the kids in the car for the school run - then proceed to apply their makeup whilst driving down the road.

Not a stupid father...a stupid parent.

sound like he is selfish, wanted to see it himself, told the wife he was going to the cinema, she thinks he is going to see a kiddies film, he doesn't want to see a kiddies film, thinks the 18 won't be that bad!!! what a goat!
