I can relate to this, at the end of the day everyone should strive for a little more than they have had but should also not forget where they came from. Everyone gets to pick where they live and where the people they hang with live. They do not have to be the same at all. You could very easily live in a exclusive area and only associate yourself with a few people in that area and keep your freinds from your old neibhorhood.

Like I said before I feel what your going through because rich people can be assholes at times but not all of them are. If I were you i would better myself, keep my old freinds, and find people in your new sourroundings that were not born with a silver spoon in their mouth and know how hard life is and are more down to earth

If compassion and service are important to you, an education can empower you to build a career out of making other people's lives easier.

There are down to earth people amongst the affluent and educated too - don't get sucked into the lie of the "filthy rich" and thinking all rich people must be jerks.

Realise your potential and do what is important to you.

An education doesn't make you who you are not. Where is it written that because you have an education and the good job and money that comes with it, that you can't still live your trailer park ways? If money messes with your mind--it's you, not the money. Money buys choices, Bubba. YOUR choices.
