When I first got my car everything worked fine, until here recently I went to turn on my a/c and it didnt work, so I turned it to the heat and it didnt work either. The blower only worked when I turned the dial to 4. I dont think It would be my switch b/c if you have the windows down and the radio off you can hear the engine and everthing under the hood turn on, it's just that the blower wont turn on. So can someone please help me because It's too hot to even have ur windows down, and I really would love to have a/c in my car.

Your blower motor resistor pack has a burned out element. The highest speed doesn't use a resistor so that's why it still works. It's usually located close to the blower motor in the plenum (duct-work) and has several wires connected to it. Some are available at parts store and some from the dealer. Cost about $20 and fairly easy to change. ...Good Luck...

Blower works on high because full battery power is used to run the blower motor on high. Please check the blower resistor. And also check the blower motor if it is worn drawing to many amps energy it will burn out another resistor. Year Make model and how many miles always help me answer better.

Most blower motors have two wwindings for lower and higher speeds. You may have blown the fuse for the one that is not working. Or the winding is OPEN meaning it needs to be replaced. Either check your fuse bok for blowne fuses or bring to a dealership for service. Good luck!
