We are long suffering Geelong fans & I made a promise to my 6 year old son this year that if the Cats made the Grand Final I would take him to watch it. After the brilliant year the Cats have had, I now have the dilemma of keeping my promise & flying the family from Sydney to Melbourne to watch the game - if I can find 4 reasonably priced tickets. I am aware there are very expensive sponsors tickets with meals, entertainment & reserved seating as a package - however we could not afford to buy these. We don't need the best seats - we will just be happy to be there & join in the excitement & hopefully see the Geelong Cats perform a miracle & give us joy watching them win the 2007 AFL flag. Can someone in the Channel 7 or Yahoo community help us please.

If you aren't a Geelong member, and win a drawing of some sort, I am afraid you will have to watch it on television. Tickets to a Grand Final are as scarce as tickets to a Super Bowl here in the USA. Wish I could be at the G or watch on television. Being here in America, I can't get to the ground, I have been to the MCG several times, (no ticket) or watch on television (no TV of footy in the USA). I hope Geelong gets there and wins the thing. I will be listening to Rex, Clinton Grybas and Robt. Walls on 3AW via the Internet, even if Geelong isn't in it.

Go to the Geelong website, www.gfc.com.au and ask the club about GF tickets. Maybe you can get lucky. Hope that is a reasonable answer.

Sorry , but you will not be able to get reasonably priced tickets from anywhere . You must be a member of one of the competing clubs or buy one in a package deal that cost me $2,400. from Perth 2 years ago and included 2 nights accomodation in a **** heap hotel . You probably have more chance at winning lotto . Take them to Bali for a week , have a great holiday and watch it live from one of the many places that show it and enjoy a couple of ice cold Bintangs' !! WHEN IT COMES TO THE GRAND FINAL AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC , THE AFL IS A DISGRACE !!!

i agree with bace, being a demon, we would need about 14 salary cap breaches (and the afl to dock those sides all there points) to make the grand final
