After watching last night's game with san fran and arizona, where arizona kept having false starts, and at 1 point had 2 in a row I got to thinking what is the record for false starts in a row, and what team holds it?

I cant recall any particular game, but Im pretty sure it has happened more than you would think. Ive seen it happen in college, so Im sure pro cant be that much different. When a team is near the end zone and the fans get really loud, its impossible to hear a snap count. Thats when you would be likely to see 3 in a row.

a couple of years ago,the giants had 10 false starts against the seahawks.i believe they had 3 in a row.

I truly doubt that anyone keeps track of this as a stat.
