Just think about which one you would regret missing out on in 20 years. The test is important, but you may not have much more time to spend with your uncle. A lot of it depends on the specifics of his cancer. Is it treatable? Is it fast acting? If you can go next weekend, maybe it will be OK to study for the test this week, but don't delay too long.
Another option is to either take your study materials with you. Any good famiy member would be proud of your efforts to do your best in school. You can study when your uncle isn't available. If that won't work out, talk to your teacher. Sometimes if they know of a family situation, they can help you by delaying the test.

This is Tuesday. Study up for the test until Friday, then go spend the weekend with your uncle. If you spend proper time learning the material for the next 3-4 days, you should still remember enough of it to do all right on the test on Monday.

Write to your teacher that you need to go and see your sick uncle and ask if she/he can give you a special test. If this doesn't work, call or write a letter/send a card to your uncle and explain to him why you cant come this weekend, but tell him you would visit him the next weekend. If this still doesn't work, bring your notes/ books to your uncle's home and read while you are on the trip - if this still doesn't work, then pray that you will pass the test. Good luck.

your test is important too so luck with that as well & eat either peanuts eggs chicken meat baked beans fish tin salmon or any tin fish is fine or fresh fish on the day of your test & even when you study maybe

Go and visit your uncle. And bring some studying stuff with you, like your books, reviewers, whatever. That way, you could do a little studying while you spend quality time with your uncle... :)

I'm with The Chair Wizard ! - he's on to it... and you should be off it, off here and studying!
...you may find it hard to concerntrate, but if you do it, it will be taken into your brain and you could be surprized how much you do actually retain.
Letting your test takers know what is going on could be a good idea...you may be allowed to sit the test at a different time [with these things taken into consideration by them].
It can go either way with cancer sometimes, but If I were you, I would go see my Uncle.
People are always more important, sometimes more than we realize.
:o)

i think you will still have time to study,at least it is over the weekend and not a week day, b/c that gives less chance to study, but seeing your uncle is way more important that talking a test... you will still have time...

How about studying between now and then. As for your uncle, say what needs to be said, while he can still hear it and know how you feel.
