I was getting ready for school. It was about 8:00 and I decided to whatch so TV before leaving and I saw the coverage for the first plane. By the time my first class started the second plane had hit. Needless to say the TV's were on all day.

I live in Australia. Due to the time difference, the attacks happened at night time (10th Sep). I was just about to go to bed and there was a news flash on the tv showing the attacks.

At the time, I was doing a job that I hated. Seeing those people jumping out of buildings, I realised that life is short and needs to be lived to the full. I quit my job the very next morning.

I was at work(doing inventory) and my boss came around and told all of us what was going on. The store I was at set up a tv, for all of us to see and hear what was happening. We then had to finish and of course go home in misbelieve as to what was going on. I felt so sorry for everyone, and wished I could have helped them in some way.
