I'm so sorry for your headaches, but the best advice is to ask your doctor about "Inderal". I suffer from daily migraines, and have gone to neorologyst and emergency room. Inflammatory donnot help, you might of also being born with this problem if you recall suffering from headaches your entire life. They may of gotten worse because your probably currently under stress.
I use a heart medication, i know it sounds weird but Inderal is ment to lower your blood pressure the only difference from other medicines that are for blood pressure is that this one is specially made for your head, it's ment to calm down and lower all the electricity that's going on in your brain. However, you need to ask your doctor to also use an anti-depressant, which is what im currently taking. *I don't have the name yet because im suppose to get my perscription in 3 days*. But i will try to edit it here.
Since i suffer from daily migraines, and have the same problem you do, they had to mix this medication with an anti-depressant that is used for migraines. Trust me, i was hospitalized and was even given two high doses of narcotics at the hospital and it still didn't work.
Theirs an anti-depressant that is used for migraines, all i know about it is that you need to take it before you feel a headache coming along with inderal. Ask your doctor he'll know. The reason why they give people like us anti inflammatory, anti- depressant and heart medication for our headaches it's because no one has a true cure for headaches & migraines, sadly theirs people born this way. I was born weaker than other people, and you seem to be as sensitive or born this way. All i've noticed is that when i also get stressed my migraines endure longer. Now with this medicine i feel better.
My honest opinion: They make me feel better than anything i've tried so far. All you need is a combination of these medicines, you need your doctor to start thinking of giving you different medicine and consider lowering your blood pressure and anti-depressant. This is the only true therapy that will make you tired but not unable to work and will ease your pain.
Good luck, i feel your pain, i've been through the same, i've had different neurologyst & doctors. I hope your doctor considers changing medicine and not give you inflammatory.

Its not very alternative I'm afraid...
but the next time you feel a headache coming on, have a strong as you can take it & preferably stronger than you can take it cup of coffee or tea and the caffeine will help to stop it in its tracks.

Then read the sister article about Neuromuscular Therapy
