And please no answers that haven't already been debunked, for example "it was all one of the characters' dream whilst on the original flight and none of it actually happened and everybody landed safely in LA"...

best show! it could be something like a 'truman show' finish where everything is actually a tv show that they don't realise has happened and it is all based around jack

I really wish I had an answer, I've no idea what's happening anymore. I love the show, but I just have no idea what's going on, especially with that Flash Forward at the end of the last season. I an't wait till it comes back though.

I like the theory that is kind of like the movie "Identity".
One of the characters (probably the big dude) has multiple personalities and is in an institution somewhere. Sometimes personalities (people on the island) die and sometime new ones appear. I know 2 seasons ago, they actually tried to disprove that theory, but I still like it.

They make it back to the mainland. I think that "future" episode is just a red herring, and will make no sense after a few more episodes. Going back to the mainland will be one consistent reaction from everybody:
"really?"
I do like the Dallas ending though (a dream).

I love LOST. Don't miss an episode. what if they really are on a 'haunted island'? I like that scenario. Otherwise, I have no idea and I'm glad I don't. I want to be kept wondering till the very end.
