Australia has no rules on what to wear ! (well apart from full nudity on a public beach.)
Wear what you feel comfortable in.

No-one cares what you wear on the beach. There are no rules these days apart from full nudity. Most beaches have topless areas for women. People here are not bothered by such things.

That is not correct. We love to feel comfortable and wear what we like. You will see on the coast all people wear whatever they like and feel like.
Don't forget sunscreen, hat and sunnies that is important ... the rest is fine.

That is so untrue - can you imagine the uproar if a rule like that was set! - Loads of girls wear boardies over here - pack as may in your suitcase as you like.
