What is the name of the play in which children play the roles of Mother and Father (If English children have such a play at all)?

You mean the game? (I would only use "the play" to refer to a piece of theatre.)

We used to call it "playing house."

I don't think there's a formal name for something like this. I guess you can just say that "they are playing a family" or "playing mom and dad".
