The democrats began this new way of thinking in the late 60's and went over the edge in 1972 when they put changes in their party that ran off all moderates and conservatives in the party.

it was a sad display from my fellow Democratic party members But not all of them have yielded to the extreme left. Dems Like Joe Lieberman are still out there staying Moderate.
