my laptop screen has gone sort of infared?

It is hard for me to explain but it is very difficult to see on my laptop, especially videos and pictures.
When I press my thumb hard against the screen the colour and clearness comes back perfectly, then when I take my thumb off it goes away again.
Any ideas on how to fix?

Not sure what's wrong but if your laptop is still under warranty send it back to get repaired and you should get a new screen.

If it's not it'll probably be too expensive to fix to be worth fixing.
