I have an out-of-box view.
Necessities are unavoidable and therefore inevitably important.... we are forced to give importance without a choice. Hence I would not mention them in answer to this question.
In my view, the perennially important things which we will have to wisely choose as important at all times are basic values such as truth, honesty, trust, cooperation, compassion, kindness etc. If we choose to ignore these basic values, it would be like cutting the branch of the tree on which we are sitting... unless we are wise enough to restore these values in our lives to a minimum acceptable level, we would annihilate ourselves, because these values are the backbone of the smooth functioning of a society and our survival is literally dependent on the survival of an efficient society.

Very good question, worth a star !
Now, more so in 100 years, more so in 1000 years and forevermore, will be the supreme-ultimate-absolute Values of:
Love, mercy, service ministry, truth, beauty and goodness.
Love of materialism is evolving to love of science fact-ideas and then later to love of philosophy-meanings and later to love of God and all humans as beloved sons of God.
Nationalism will continue to grow less important, and a planetary peace army will enforce worldwide peace. Murder is now outlawed in most countries; then war will also be logically outlawed and enforced by a worldwide peace army. Government of all People, by all People and for all People is coming.
Home-Family-friends based personal religion in small dynamic groups will continue to augment or replace organized religions.
Improving science and technology will allow about 7-10 billion humans here to only have to work for only a few hours per week. Leisure time will increasingly become more productive. Religion, philosophy, science and the arts will flourish.Education and wisdom will increase. The main purpose of Education will be seen to be the further development of a majestic, well-balanced personality more realized by all Humans. Ontology will focus more on "I am of I AM" Personality Reality.
Many thousands of creative statements on our next 100 years of progress and beyond should be compiled into many e-books. Reading worldwide English on-line or with e-book devices will be important; printed books will be antique curiosities.
Peace and progress,
Brother Dave, a Jesusonian Christian Truthist

Come and share !

human beings havent changd as much as some people think. humans may think we are only a little lower than the angels but we must understand we are a part of the animal family. the same basic things which are the lifes essentials will continue to do so a hundred years after.

Good question. Loads of things,
World Peace
Pollution
Diseases and the art of avoiding them.
How to live longer (I still believe that the average age for Brits will be 78 - 80)
We will still be trying to find ways of relaxing and "enjoying" quality time.
Art, music, and literature will still be important. Michaelangelo will still be admired, Mozart will still sell, and Shakespeare still read and performed.

The two important things in life, as ever, compassion and a relief from suffering for all people.
As long as we are still focussed on these two important things, all other things will be easy.
