I personally do not think it is appropriate for children. However, that is something I would leave to the parents. I am all for the protection of children, but I would hate to see restrictions on a public site just because children may see it. It is the parents responsibility to make sure the children are looking at appropriate content and are not on line without supervision.

That was a joke, I am almost always respectful and I understand that there are kids on here... as a parent, I wouldn't allow my son to be on the internet without supervision. Not even at the age of 13, ESPECIALLY not at the age of 13.. that's a time when kids are most curious and there's too many predators.

I think 13 is an appropriate age - if the abuse is controlled!!!
My 13yo son has an account and uses it wisely - asks good qs and answers well.

Having an adult section would just make the kids more curious! Let's face it, they would find a way to get in!
I think it's fine how it is.. we can't regulate everything. They just say 13 and up to escape liability, and I don't blame them. What else can they do?

I think they shouldn't be in certain sections. What does a 13-yr. old know about Marriage & Divorce to be answering in that section?

I think it could be if everyone followed the rules, then yes...but that doesn't happen so NO! I think the Internet is not appropriate for children period!
