For a talent contest, we are planning to sing an emo song. (Hehe, i know a lot of you are anti emo out there, and gonna ask why you gonna play lousy emo song.) So my friend is trying to practice his screamo, but he can't seem to get it right. When he screams, it seems that he is feeling unhealthy feelings and he is wailing a lot. How can he improve?

Here is the video.

try different tones and pitches until you find one that you like. Don't scream so loud it tears your vocal cords...learn to practice screaming, and look up lessons online to work on volume control and strengthen your vocal cords.
