The Portugal Police themselves state that... i quote, "It is not certain that traces of blood found in a car rented by Kate and Gerry McCann match that of their missing daughter Madeleine, the director of the Portuguese judicial police said as they prepared to report to prosecutors on Tuesday. "None of the results of the analyses allows one to say with certainty that the blood comes from X or Y," Alipio Ribeiro said on Portuguese public television station RTP."

HOWEVER:
Citing experts from the government-owned Forensic Science Services (FSS) lab in Birmingham, The Sun tabloid reported that blood found in the car was an exact DNA match to Madeleine.
So, is it that the armchair detectives here on YA base their so-called "evidence" on nothing but reports from a tacky tabloid like The Sun??? Now, what does that ...um...PROVE???
NOTHING, except that they relish sensationalism that reeks of a witch-hunt.

All news station's around the world released the story we watched it here in Australia last night , reporters should be listened to and only 10 % of what they report should be taken as fact's , I am sorry to say this is going to be another Lindy Chamberlain case if the child isnt found alive or deceased , nobody but who ever kidnapped / hurt her will know what really happened the rest of the world will just be speculating.

Forensic evidence isnt what you see on CSI. Not all cases get solved.

The head of the Portuguese police himself stated yesterday in an interview to a Portuguese tv station conducting a programme on Maddie that,in this particular case, the DNA evidence was far from being conclusive evidence of anything at all.

They will probably start looking for the body again, because without the body, the case will probably never be solved.

The case of the other girl that disappeared in the South of Portugal some time ago, Joana, killed by her mother and uncle, was finally resolved when her body was found.

Don't think the parents is the suspect.
Something is not right out there.
Ever wonder the parents were having dinner.
Ever wonder she was left alone.
Ever wonder when parents left the house with the key.
Anyone else have access to the house?
Ever wonder the blood stain can be from previous incident?
Ever wonder if the child is sleeping and woke up found the parents not around.
Did she walk around?
Ever wonder anyone near the neighbourhood without children with unusual activity buying children's clothing and food?
If parents is suspect.
They will not keep on screaming at deaf ears.
Look around.
She can still be around.

they must be some certain amount of evidence for them to be prime suspects,we all know that papers elaberate stories to get the coverage, but at the same time we could be saying the same thing when weeks ago, some papers were saying people who thought the parents had anything to do with it was and i quote SICK. how does anyone know they didnt have anything to do with it,just because they said so.all i know and what everyone knows they are 100 percent guilty of,and that is leaving there children on there own in the first place.and NO thats not from the sun, that is a FACT.

We shall have to see. It isn't looking good at the moment. what I don't understand is how come the McCanns are banned from speaking about the case but the Portuguese police are able to say what they like.

And if the Portuguese police were so convinced, for months, why didn't they dig up the church ages ago?

She was having a row with herslef - too funny!

I am trained (and always have been) to work from factual evidence not speculation . . .

I agree with you, we don't know yet what happened.

Quite right! You'll not get anywhere though. The Sun readers actually believe it's a newspaper!
