Try to be in the other person's shoes you are waiting on if you are waiting at a business.
Believe in the saying that all good things come to those who wait.

Try to imagine or even remember a time when you were in the same situation. For example:
1. Many drivers scream at people who are driving slowly, while looking at a map, obviously lost. Hasn't that happened to you at some point and wasn't it further disconcerting to have someone either yell, honk, or even tail-gate when you are in unfamiliar territory?
2. We have a learning disabled son, and I am always patient with cashiers, clerks, or anyone else who is a bit slow -- afterall, would I want someone debasing and getting angry with my son -- or anyone else for that matter !!
DO UNTO OTHERS ...
