Processor= 65W max from +12V rail
X1950 Pro= 66W max from +12V rail
RAM=<15W
DVD=<20W from +12V and +5V rail
HDD=<15W from +12V and +5V rail
Motherboard= draws from +12V, +5V and +3.3V

It is no longer as simple as TOTAL wattage. +12V output of the power supply is more important because that is now the rail with the highest power draw. Many new power supplies have at least TWO +12V rails. In your case you would need at least 18 amperes on the +12V rail for stable operation.

Most 500W supplies should be good, but many 450Ws would work also. The problem you have is the x1950pro. The x1950 series is supposed to have 30A on the 12V rails. This means that the total output for all of your 12V rails should be at least 360W. If the PSU our looking at can't do that, or doesn't show that it can, keep looking.

a 500watt PSU would be enough.
