Dec 25 is Christmas Day. July 4 is Independance Day.
What should we call 9/11? Should we call it WTC day?
Or perhaps WTF day?
Get patriotic, get evil, feel free to vent.

9/11 is called "Patriot Day" and has been for the past 6 years now.

In the United States, Patriot Day occurs on September 11 of each year, designated in memory of the nearly three thousand who died in the September 11, 2001 attacks. However, most Americans refer to the day as "Nine-Eleven (9/11)", "September 11th", or some variation thereof.

i think of it may be allowed to vanish into history. as much as I sympathise with each and every of the persons who misplaced kin interior the activities of that day, I do have confidence that this is been used via the american government (and others) to frighten people and to create regulations that get rid of person-friendly human rights interior the call of protection. If 9/11 grow to be allowed to vanish perhaps the american people could come again to their previous techniques of celebrating the variety of their u . s . a .'s ancestors extremely of being terrified of each and every others' shadows. the sole people looking advantageous properties of 9/11 are the massive firms promoting worry wholesale for favourite earnings. wager who owns maximum of them? (does no longer be individuals of the government via any probability? .... no, of direction no longer) BTW i'm British and that i locate it unhappy that your u . s . a . has been introduced to this situation via the very people who have been meant to help you evade it.

9/11 should NOT be named anything !

all the other events named (example thanksgiving) are reminders of GOOD things

although no one will ever forget it, naming it just one more reminder
