Yes, My pet shark was stung by a bee he went after, he had an allergic reaction in his gills, we found him dead at the bottom of the tank, his gills were severely swollen, I think he drowned

yes, if you grab it by the tail and pull it backwards through the water, the water goes into there lungs through there gills, and therefore they drown because they cant breath
