She definitely crossed the line.

I think she was funny. Comedians are always pushing the limits, and this is no different. If she was saying this about someone like Reese Witherspoon, who has never had public criticism about the way she raises her kids, it would be weird, but this is Britney. Come on now, I'm not saying she deserves it, but there is truth behind everything Sarah Silverman said, and that is what makes it funny. People need to lighten up and stop getting offended so easily.

Im going to go out on a limb here, I dont think it was over the line. Sarah Silverman has long been known for her humor that spares no one. Britney Spears is a public figure and so are her children. Besides, Spears hasnt exactly proved herself to be mother of the year.

It was appalling! Her comments toward those kids made me utterly sick to my stomach. That Silverman completely totally and absolutely crossed the line. There is not a question to it if you ask me. It was totally unacceptable, ruthless, and uncalled for.
I am no fan of Britney, but I swear I could be her worst enemy and not throw those innocent & precious children of hers as a butt of my joke to get a laugh. I don't care what you are, who you are!
How low did she really have to go to get a response? Pathetic. just pathetic.

I'm not a huge fan of Sarah either, but calling children mistakes is not hugely offensive to anyone but Britney and Kevin.

She's an edgy comedian. She makes fun of EVERYONE!

Who cares if she made fun of the kids, not like they understood what she was talking about???

They should have been home in bed...and not watching the VMA's...

She continually crosses the line so as that did no longer ask your self me. that's her mo. i can not stand that voice. So ANOYING!!! How boring....Been there, completed that. Get some new cloth Sarah! definite, I agree Kathy Griffin is humorous. a minimum of to me yet Sarah is so gross and that i'm particular the gays do unlike her the two:)

Sarah Silverman has made her career by crossing the line. While I don't like her comments about Britney I still think she's very funny.

Children are not mistakes. And they are very wealthy children at that. I think that Britney Opening act, and Sarah Siverman both sucked. Now that's what I thought.
The children should never be brought into it. Britney's done.

I'm not sure she "crossed the line" since comedy nowadays is pretty graphic. Too bad Silverman's not a comedian.

She went WAY over the line, instead of merely insulting Britney and Kevin, she insulted two innocent children. Nothing impressive about insulting helpless children, that's the sign of a first-class b*tch.

She most definitely crossed the line. Talking about someone else's children on the MTV Awards was really tacky. I personally think she owes her a public apology. Tacky, tacky, tacky. Never thought she was funny anyway.
