How do you deal with undesirable things if you are?

yes, but I know I am and I know why. Now I can recognise when I am applying my own meaning to things that people say. When I see I am doing that I stop myself and clarify the situation and I'm normally wrong.
Sometimes I still do it but I am quicker to resolve it these days and apologise.

Completely the opposite, and what a better world it would be if everyone was the same.
Just think how many people particulally certain religions would be if they didn't kick off at the slightest thing.
As an example, can i suggest the massive fuss and riots that went off all over the world when a newspaper printed some cartoons mocking Islam.
I'd go as far as saying there are wars that wouldn't have happened if more weren't as easily offended.

Nope. Undesirable things are a part of life. Learning to deal with them shows maturity and character...somethings just can't be "blocked" out.

I'm not easily offended ..... on most subjects. If someone says or does something I find offensive, I let them know.

depends on my mood of the day, and of course who is trying to offend me, if i do feel vulnerable and get offended... i usually sulk a little and try to pacify myself and then i convince myself that they were wrong and then i forget it and feel all ok again !
