What's your take on all the memorials for the victims? Will we forget if we don't mark it on our calenders? If you need to be reminded, did ya care in the first place?

We'll always remember, but they do over cover it in the press. Give it a few years and it will be less attractive to the press. You don't see people freaking out over the pearl harbor anniversary, but there are still memorials.

Of course we wont forget! How could we! But it needs to be on our calenders for those who were to young to know what was going on at the time... anf for those who were not yet born! Everyone that lives in the US needs to know about what happened and to know about all the people that lost their lives for this great country!
We have to have memorials and mark it on our calenders for them... It's not a need for us to be reminded it's just one of many ways to remember those people!

Even if there was none, this tragedy has affected us so much that none of us who lived through it could forget it even if we wanted to. It's worse for New York than here in California becuase, obviously, it wasn't our home state. But we still feel the pain and remember. People who don't know were either too young or oblvious to the world around them.I still think back to when I was in 5th grade and walked into my house and seeing the news reports.

The "memorial" I want is finding and destroying the ones who master-minded it, implemented it, and financed it.

Hon, I need to be reminded when it's my birthday...but this date no one forgets.

I've hung a flag the size of the wall on the front of my house every September 11th since it happened. (The rest of the time, there's a flag on a flagpole in my front yard. It flies EVERY day, in good weather.)

I'd like to see what was promised to the victims, and the survivors of the victims, delivered.

Most of all, I'd like the people we trust to prevent this sort of thing doing their jobs!

No American is EVER going to "forget" this. You can believe that.

I believe in memorializing the victims EVERY YEAR out of respect. I have NO PROBLEM with that. I JUST finished dedicating my 360 page to the victims of 9/11...

my best friend almost was on one of the planes+I'm thankful that I didn't lose her...I agree it's OK if we remember the victims+I feel really sorry for their families...just don't make a fuss about poor Americans who were attacked for no reason: it simply isn't true...I also feel sorry for the Iraqi's families and those who lost loved ones in that war...
It's funny but today is my last day at work and everyone notices the coincidence...

Memorials are fine--people still need closure, it was one of the most horrible days ever.
We won't forget....How could we forget the ONLY time our own innocent people were killed on our home ground ? It changed our lives forever.
Please fly an American Flag tomorrow out of respect.
I care !!
