I usually go with the flow but there will be certain thing in life that need to go against the current.

Both. I go against the current when I do not agree with people. I'll go with the flow when I know things are okay.

I wish I could go with the flow but usual I'm against the current! I just dont see things in the same light as the average sheeple!

Depending upon how i interpret this question is how i would answer....
Universally, i would say i swim against the current. Prefering to look beyond the blinkers.
Locally, in my day to day activities; with children....i go with the flow of what is happening at the time. You can't make a child poop, eat or drink if they don't want to....You can't expect a child to mould exactly into what you think a perfect day will entail. Swimming against the current in this situation would be fruitless and indeed frusterating.
So, i guess i do both depending upon the situation you refer to. Have a great day.

I try to go with the flow, but am often found running with scissors against the current.

When i was a teen i used to go with the flow, but now i definitely go against the current. It is just a coincidence, i don´t do that on purpose.
