that depends most ghosts are not trying to scare you. If you do want just to scare the ghost loud music and lights work. If you are not sure you have a ghost go on a couple days vacation and spread baby powder all over the floor (don't forget to lock all the doors). Any footprints will mean you have an errant spirit. If you want to get the ghost out get some holy water and sprinkle it in every corner of the house reciting the protection prayer.

Most of the ghosts are generally very shy of humans and avoid them.If you see any,just ask him/her as with whose permission he/she is here and for what purpose?keep asking questions and let him/her not answer them.In due course, ghost shall give you up as a nut case,and not bother you anymore. You can frighten a Ghost only if you are a bigger Ghostly looking creature.Note:-You can try these at your own risks.
