The live piano song you mostly all have referred to is called "The Load-Out/Stay" by Jackson Browne. It is Browne's affectionate and knowing send-off to his concert audiences and roadies, recorded live at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD.
Other artists have covered this, and in fact "Stay" (the second half of the single) is also a playful cover of a soul tune written in 1960 by Maurice Williams. "Stay" by Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs was the shortest #1 song ever to hit the US charts for many years, a catchy number which gave Browne's excellent Asylum sidecast a great opportunity to extend it out and showcase their individual talent on the live cover.

I was going to guess both those answers. Now that I think about it, it's probably the Jackson Brown one, I'd have to listen to the beginning of the song again but yeah, try that.

I believe it is called "stay just a little bit longer", it is by Bob Segar and the Silver Bullet Band. It's about life on tour, and was the encore song in one of their tours. Possibly called "one more song". Sorry, Jackson Brown, was thinking of "Turn the Page" .
