But I only heard one person tell the truth. "The red pigs want to keep the war going because they feed out of the trough of carnage and the blue pigs want to keep it going for votes! Either way is reprehensible."

Cindy Sheehan is a *****! She is trampling on her son's service, which he was proud to do. She is lying. My cousin was in his unit, and he felt proud to be there, and in my cousin's opinion would slap his mother over her BS!
She would not know truth if it hit her in the face!
artgirl...you want to know the funny thing about those groups you cite? I do not know about the others, but "war veterans for peace" was exposed as having less than 30% of their membership is veterans. They are a bunch of posers.

But the surge is working ... just look at how stable the Iraqi government is! Just look at how much happier the people are! Be patient! We've only been over there for what, four years? What's another year if it means that one day, all the Sunnis, Shia and Kurds will forget their long history of mutual animosity and tribal conflicts?
See, the problem is you're THINKING about the war! That's counterproductive! You have to BELIEVE in the war! To quote Colbert, "you have to feel it in your gut."
Thinking just takes too much effort and frankly, is unpatriotic.
Cindy Sheehan! Pfft. She is sooooooo deserving of all the contempt which is routinely heaped upon her for criticizing the war. Who does she think she is, exercising her right to free speech?
We should all be grateful for people on YA like Dina who calls her a "pinko" or The Broken Planet who calls her a "loudmouth." Or how about Open Thoughts who calls her a "*****"! Whooooohooooo! You tell her guys! I don't know where Sheehan gets off thinking that just because she lost her son in a war that she has the right to criticize our president.
When Bush said "Mission Accomplished," he was, you know, just kind of kidding. Our great president and all of his infinitely brilliant advisors are making the Middle East safe for democracy!
So you should just, like, you know, shut up. Keep your opinions to yourself. The country is at war! Now isn't the time to think or analyze or have dissenting opinions! Now is the time to OBEY. Let other people do your thinking for you!
And that goes double for Cindy Sheehan.

I also heard about the back door tactics being used by US oil to get contracts. Patreas, if not a liar, kept repeating about the last week. Who cares about 1 damn week! The GAO and the Iraqi people polled do not agree with him, as most of those there do not either!
Patreas cooked the books just like the VA cooked the books and got caught....again!
Patraes is a politician. Look what happened to those who weren't!
Bravo, the TRUTH IS Cindy Sheehan's son was killed in an illegal war! Did your kid die?
The General and the Ambassador are both Bush appointees. I have never known any to tell the truth so far!

I do not understand. Last time I checked, the Constitution was supposed to balance the powers of the government (hence checks and balances). Obviously, the Constitution has been scrapped. Bush is fueling this war with greed. But here's the thing, IT IS NOT OUR WAR! It is a holy war with the Sunnis against the Shi'as, a holy war that has been going on for centuries. With the number of radical Muslims on the rise, do you think it's gonna stop? NO. Is it the U.S.'s to interfere? NO. It is not our job to patrol their country if they want to do something different. It is time for our troops to come home, and to stop dying. It's that clear.

She's pretty much the only one that is telling the truth in D.C today. The GOP are wolves and the Dems are abunch of sheep to scared to stand up to the wolves.
Sparkles..... There are alot of people who support Sheehan even though the media doesn't show it. People who support Sheehan are Iraq War Veterans from both wars and War Veterans for Peace. I have enough trust in the fact that these war veterans know war enough to know what they are talking about. I also trust the fact that they know enough to understand that Sheehan is the only one with integrity enough to talk about the truth about the Iraq war and speaking up against our so called leaders. That's why these war vets stand side by side with her.

Sparkles...... Why are you so full of fear? Let me tell you something, the number of Iraq war vets who are saying no to this war are growing ALOT. And, their numbers are going to keep on growing. Go to the website I gave you and look at their list and see how it is growing. And, those are just the ones that are signed on to that group. If the soldiers in Iraq today are so for this war and so excited about it then why is troop morale so low? Why are suicide rates of soldiers in Iraq skyrocketing? Why are their record numbers turning up AWOL and moving to Canada? Why aren't you in Iraq if you're so afraid that this country is going to be lost because of the woosies as you state? Why aren't you fighting for what you believe to be true? Are you just another con hypocrite like the rest of your armchair warriers on Yahoo Answers? Please, go back to bed and pull the sheets over your head if it makes you feel better.

Long hair freaky people say things like this. People with pink short hair know better. I can't believe there are actually people who support Sheehan. I am sure her son who died in the war effort would have a different story to tell.
Really artgurrl? How about all the soldiers who are in combat now as we speak? They support the war effort, so I would think they outnumber who you are speaking of, plus the vets who do support the war effort. If everything were left up to the wussies, we would have had more terrorism in America by now.
