Well, it doesn't look good for them. Speaking for myself, I wouldn't have left my kids unattended. I wouldn't give my children medication that was not for the benefit of their health. I wouldn't be sitting around waiting for someone else to find my child. I certainly wouldn't leave the country without her even if I was falsely accused (and I'm not saying that the McCanns have been falsely accused) of having something to do with her disappearance. I would be thinking of my child. It would be unthinkable to not be right there for her if she was found alive. I would still want to be there even if she was no longer alive. The attention they are getting is not unusual considering that their actions are questionable.
I am not convinced that they didn't have something to do with their daughter's disappearance.

I think the McCans are getting screwed. The Portuguese police are trying scare them into a confession, but they are wasting valuable time when they could looking for the truth.
If the McCans did kill their little (by accident or otherwise) this harassment by the police isn't going to do anything but cause them to act more careful and not say anything to blow the cover.
It sounds like the Portuguese police is grasping at straws. First the say they have found blood evidence of the little girl in the car the McCans rented. Then they said Mrs. McCans accidentally killed the girl by giving her too much medicine.
If they didn't kill their child, the only thing the McCans can do at this point is pray that the police find the truth.

I do not think they are getting screwed. The children WERE getting screwed by the fact that the parents were giving them sedatives to keep them quiet. For how long did them do so? Can you calle them "caring parents" as they think they are?
I do not know if they did murder their child, but morally they are lacking A LOT as parents. If you decide to have children, you look after them for as long as you/them live. You cannot turn parenhood on/off when you wish.
YOU DO NOT leave them alone to go out for dinner, even if they are only 100 meters away. If you wish to have a carefree evening you take in babysitter and make sure they are properly looked after. and what is more YOU DO NOT give them sedatives in order that they do not disturb you.
If you wish to have a "solo holidays with your husband/wife", you leave the children with your family.
Whatever happened to this little girl, the parents are morally to be blamed.
As per the police, well, if they suspect them maybe they should not have allowed them to go back to the UK. They now have time and money to get goods lawyers.
But, unless they are really lacking human feelings, whether they are guilty or not, this should haunt them for the rest of their lives, never should they be allowed to forget this.
Finally, if they are so worried about their little girl, why do they look so cold blooded? Or is it only me who thinks this way?

I believe Kate McCann should be screwed properly in a brazialian jail, there she should be put in the man's jail with 40 inmates for the next 10 years at least (since Brazil is having extradiction treaty with Portugal as a former colony).
This is for obstruction of the public. Also some of the big names like D. Beckham, R. Branson should ask for their money back donated to them. Otherwise they should be charged with helping for murder.
They fled from Portugal and now they have hired a mass-murderers lawyer (Pinochet) responsible for 28000 victims killed!

No. In a child's death, more often than not, a parent or caregiver is involved. (Ramseys notwithstanding.) It's only natural that they be considered the prime suspects.
