I don't like the name Pharaoh at all.

Long ago (in Egypt)Pharaoh was the name of the palace where the ruler lived,and over time it began to mean the ruler himself. It has NEVER been any persons Name(at least not in a historical way). Cameron is an old Gaelic name meaning Crooked nose. Maybe you would like to research "baby names" online for some help.

Unless he earns millions making movies or albums, people are gonna think it's dumb. Actually, even with the millions people are gonna think it's dumb. Smack him upside the head and tell him to let his wife pick. She's obviously got more sense.
