I do things on my own often, prefer it that way, but if I need help, will ask for it.
Now, if you're referring to "something else"...ahem, you know what I mean...then also like to "do it myself", though its much more fun with someone else.

I'm a guy, what else do you need to know? We also refuse to read the instructions either, we just do things until they feel right. Is there anything we guys can help you with?

It's really hard to let anyone else do it for me...can't have something held over my head. Damn...I guess I havn't been surounding myself with very good people if that's the view I have.
