Pain is a just a thought.

But the sword through your belly stimulating the nerves to generate that thought. That's real.

And to answer your questions in order:

Every THING is real. The world, my computer, Me. In some sense, I am always being perceived, there is fungus between my toes aware of my existence. I am perceived BECAUSE I am real. Pain is just a thought, but it is a real thought. We say movies are not real life, but movies are real portrayals of life. Pain is the same principal.

Everything you think you see, it an internal guess regarding an external reality. Same principal as a movie. Not exactly reality, just your interpretation of it.

Human existence as you know it is just one long Docudrama.

No harm editing out a few of the crappy parts. Adjust the voice over to make yourself the hero.

Damn I'm good. < Say this alot. It's cheap. It's fun.

After much reflection, I would say that Reality is collectively a living, conscious, almost electrical energy dynamic composed of everything that exists on all levels of energy, all 'time periods', all frequencies, vibrations and densities, including all probabilities, enfolding infinite potential for extension of itself, in a process of continuous creation and perceptive experience. Once something is created in reality, it remains, in various forms, forever.

"I AM."

That is real. Or as Socrates put it, "Know Thyself."

A nice online resource explains this whole thing in the contextt of a simple story... Gospel Enigma.... at New Free Books.

It is not real. My reasoning is because in life we try to control events and we cannot and what you cannot control is not real.
Just like shadows we can not do anything with it. It changes as soon as we move!
