31 million dollars guaranteed. what do you all think? how will he do in oakland over his 6 year contract there?

i am a raider fan and i have two things to say.
1: i am angry because they are giving him 60 million total with 30 guaranteed when he likely wont even play in his first season. it was basically a 5 year deal since he wont play this year.
2: i am glad they finally signed him because he will be a very good quarterback for this team for years to come.
i think russell will be great because he has all the tools. he's big and has mobility, so many would-be sacks will be avoided. second, he has the biggest arm the NFL has ever seen, as he can chuck it a good 70-80 yards. at the combine he threw it 60 yards... OFF ONE KNEE. third, he's an accurate passer, not just someone that hauls it downfield like culpepper. he's got zip, accuracy, strength, and the ability to alude sacks. what mroe can you ask for from a qb? he will intimidate linebackers from teh opposing team.

What do I think? I think he should have quit his b*tching and signed a contract before pre-season even began. I think he is a selfish little prick who thought he was worth a lot more than he really was when he had never thrown an NFL pass.

I don't care, he is on the Oakland losers team so it doesn't matter. He is greedy and Oakland is cheap. Not a match made in Heaven.

I have been a Raiders fan for 45 years and have always believed in Al Davis. That said, signing this bust is the dumbest thing Al has ever done.

when he starts playin like he deserved that money to be fair to him the raiders haven't given him the weapons or offensive line he needs to be successfull
