were talking the 6600 turbo diesel. I really am a gasoline guy the blow off valve should be located just ahead of the throttle chamber and be activated by boost pressure when the throttle plate closes. E-bay good twin chamber blow offs are available there. Most are adjustable and work on diesel and gas turbo motors.

you should use any weight oil you like in your diesel as long as it is rated xd-3 usually the best is 15w40. but i'm not to sure about synthetic for diesels. the only thing i would do different about changing the oil would be to fill the new filter with oil before installing it, making sure to coat the seal with oil. also with a diesel, change the fuel filter.(saves a lot of headackes.

YES IT CAN HAVE A BLOW OFF VALVE.

THIS ONLY RELEASES IN TAKE PRESSURE
WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF OF THE GAS PEDAL
THE TURBO IS STILL SPOOLING UP AND THEN IT HAS TO RELEASE THE ADD BOOST PRESSURE THAT ACCUMULATES IN THE INTAKE TUBE BECAUSE THE INTAKE THROTTLE BODY SNAPS CLOSED AND CUTS OFF THE AIR FLOW TO THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.
