Do you mean O+ and A+ blood types? No, there's no problem. The letter has nothing to do with much of anything, really.

The only problem is if the mother is - and the father is +, because then the baby has a 50/50 chance of being +, too. The mother's body will see the + protein as an infection (because since she's -, her body has never seen that protein before), and will create antibodies to fight it off. If the baby's blood type is +, that means the moms body will be killing off the baby's blood cells. And that can be prevented by the mother getting a shot of RhoGam at her doctors office, once towards the beginning of her pregnancy, and once after delivery is the baby's blood does turn out to be +. And if she happens to experience any bleeding during pregnancy, she'll need a shot after that, too. The RhoGam keeps her body from developing those antibodies against the + protein.

two positive blood types are no problem. The omly problem is when the mother is negative and tha father is positive. The mothers body may reject the baby if it has a positive blood. Thats why they give the rhogham shot to RH negative mothers
