I got pregnant in the first month of trying to concieve. I then had a miscarriage at 6 weeks along. I have now waited the "one normal period cycle" my doctor recommended to me before trying again.

I'm just wondering if others out there have been in a similar situation - and if so, did you fall pregnant again quickly, or did it take more time the 2nd time around?

I know everyone's different, etc, but would just like to hear about some experiences from others.

Hello...sorry to hear about Ur loss.
My hubby and I miscarried Dec 13 2007 and by he end of December or so we became pregnant again. I didn't even know I was officially pregnant until I was 3 months. I thought it was too soon. We (obviously) didn't wait the 'normal period' cycle...and got pregnant RIGHT away. Our due date now and our due date when we miscarried are almost the same. We are due in 4 days.
So it is different for everyone ... what will be will be.

Hope everything works out - All the best!

Allow me to first present condolences to your miscarriage. I was once approximately 6 weeks whilst I had mine. It was once no longer a well feeling, and I am nonetheless somewhat sore approximately it in these days. It has been virtually a yr. I miscarried in October and was once pregnant through November. No one instructed me that you simply end up very fertile after a miscarriage, and I ended up pregnant a month later. I am due any day now. I was once no longer as a ways alongside as you, so making an attempt once more for me was once no longer this kind of colossal deal. I didn't cross into it pondering I had to get pregnant once more, I simply at ease and figured it might occur whilst it did. If you're no longer competent but, do not do it. Give your self time to grieve and optimistically the time will come whilst you're competent. Talk to anybody approximately it if you happen to ought to. Good good fortune and handle your self.
