I believe attacked would be more proper. The terrorists were in the United States well before 9/11.

We were attacked, not invaded. For example, the Japanese attacked us at Pearl Harbor but did NOT invade our country.
And perhaps the reason Bush is blamed by some is the same reason conservatives blame Clinton for the first WTC attack, although Bush had been in office for 9 months and Clinton had been in office for 30+ days.

IF you are serious about your question, why don't you ask the family members of all of the victims that died on that day and also while you are at it, you can ask the surviving members of the men and women who died at Pearl Harbor, I'm sure the answer will be crystal clear........
My personal opinion, is that yours is a very stupid question, either that or you don't get around much do ya??

Yea, Drew Blood, i dont get it either, liberals and dems can do the most wrong, but as soon as someone other than them gets into office and starts cleaning stuff up, they whine, i have yet to understand that, i guess they know the truth, Republicans are just better Politicians, Leaders, Presidents and Americans.

Interesting...........al Qaeda planned the 911 attacks for 3 years in this country right under Clinton's nose while he tried to hunt down and capture Bill Gates instead of Bin Laden. Yet liberals blame Bush? Go figure!
