Basically because the president is so incredibly unpopular - largely because the media so thoroughly hates him - that people refuse to see anything the man has done right. It's a real shame people can't think for themselves anymore.

Because in reality it probably doesn't have a lot to do with George Bush. The average time between large Al Queda terrorist attacks on the United States is 6 years. Between the WTC bombing and 9/11 was 8 years. While we have been dealing with the enemy in Iraq and Afghanistan, we failed to secure our borders. They remain porous and Al Queda operatives have already been caught trying to cross, and turned over to us by the Mexican authorities. How many haven't they caught? Our ports are still poorly monitored and leave a perfect opportunity to bring in biological or nuclear materials without our knowledge. The terrorists aren't afraid of George Bush, or of any of us. When it comes to the U.S., the "Great Satan," a few suicide bombings in malls just isn't big enough or flashy enough. They will try and at least equal 9/11, and when it comes to something that big, history tells us they take their time planning and executing it.
The facts are that we remain vulnerable at home, and that their numbers have increased as a direct result of the war in Iraq. Their hatred has grown, not decreased. The last thing I want to see is another horrific day like 9/11, and with all my heart I hope I'm wrong. But being a student of history, my logical mind tells me it's just a matter of time. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior, and something tells me they aren't done with us here at home. Especially when it is still disturbingly easy for them to get into our country.

Think about it, more people have died, more Americans have died since 9/11 than the death toll on 9/11 itself. Al Qaeda does not need to plan an attack on American soil, they can just pick out Americans over there in Iraq. On top of that, they can use America's invasion of Iraq as a rallying point to recruit more jihadists to their cause. America is less safe now, we are like in the eye of a storm and the moment we pull out of Iraq, the storm will hit us. The longer we stay in Iraq, the bigger the storm will get.

You rant approximately Bin weighted down and Clinton, however the reality you ignore is that when the 1st attack on the WTC, Clinton arrested tried and prosecuted the persons in contact. humorous how that for the time of no way gets reported. meanwhile, final month your Bush government enable Bin weighted down's chaffeur pass ona technicality... the form of difficulty that occurs in a mob trial the place the prosecution um would not choose for to prosecute. you are able to take yuour liked Bush presidency and stick it sideways. It substitute into is and continually would be outfitted on lies and you human beings consume them up like candy.

Because the number of terror attacks have skyrocketed worldwide, because it takes a long time to plan the operations, because as much time passed between the first WTC bombings and the Cole, because those who would give up liberty for security will get and deserve neither.
Why don't we give credit to the idiot who burns down your house to save it from some deadly mold?

That's ridiculous. That's like someone taking credit for their house not being robbed.
Why isn't the Bush administration acknowledging the fact that they have created more terrorists around the world instead of irradiating them?

we are less safe because more people are trying to kill us!!!!!!!
by invading the wrong country.... the recruitment for Al Qaeda has gone up higher than Bin Laden could have ever dreamed of!!!!! These American-haters have all met up in Iraq to take target practice on our American soldiers while people like you continue to support the war that will be the reason for the next attack in our country!!!
believing that they hate us for our freedom is myopic, simplistic, and wrong!!!!!

first off if it were one of my family members how would i feel.Probably proud of my soldier like 99 % of the other parents who have lost a son in this war on terror, who's son was proud and believed in what they were fighting for you arrogant commie.Unless you want to protest it like cindy sheehan, who by the way gave her kid up in a divorce, hasnt put a gravestone on his grave even though its paid for by the military, she just hasnt took the time to pick it out.she is too busy with her protests and too busy to visit his grave.I cant believe how ignorant this nation that I love has become, how soon we forget 9/11,how soon we forget how evil saddam was to his own people, how he hated the usa.Thousands not 100's of thousands of iraqi citizens have died there but not from our hands,it has been from insurgents in kidnappings and murder.and your right,we are not wanted there, were not wanted by the terrorist who want to force islam rule there and eventually here also. They dont want a democratic nation there.they want islamic rule and dictatorship but that isnt what the majority of the iraqi nation wants. And we havnt made it to 4000 casualties yet although we probably will infortuneately. In this long war we still havnt lost as many people as they killed on 9/11.I know going to war in Iraq is not with the exact same people that did 9/11 but their beliefs and their wanting usa annialated are the same.Open your eyes and you will se this is bigger than you ever imagined and we could leave now and they will think they have won this battle and will continue their efforts and then there will be more us attacks. So I thank Bush for all he's done,he has followed his heart and stood up to lots of ridicule all because he loves this country and cares about you and me and this nation. He knows whats at stake just as all the members of congress did when they authorized this war on terror but have so cowardly backed away when it wasnt popular anymore and tried to push the blame elsewhere even though some of them like Hillary and Kerry and Ted Kenedy had ben pushing for a war because of Saddams link to terror even before 9/11.Read your facts people, they back away now but when it was popular and before bush pushed for a war on terror they themselves wanted this and believed in it.So I thank bush and I also want to scorn all the people who are now cowards and only worried about their popularity rather than the safety of our country.wether you agree or not we are much safer now than we have ever been. With or without this war though these people want us dead and they wanted us dead before the war,9/11 proves that. But at home we are much safer
