Which one? The pyramid as a form of resting place for a pharoah is the most famous type - but they were not only buried in pyramids. See the wikipedia article from more descriptions on this matter. Resting place???? If people keep disturbing these tombs and robbing them of their contents and bodies, there will be no pharoahs resting anywhere except in a museum. It is wrong to disturb the dead, whether they are a nobody or a pharoah.

Which one?? Many were buried in the pyramids but others in the valley of the kings near Luxor (eg king Tut).
Hatsepshut, who was the only female pharaoh has a temple all to herself. (This is where some tourists were shot by a terrorist a few years back ).

The Egyptians believed in an afterlife, and continued to try to bring their possessions to that afterlife. But you only take with you that character that you have refined. And if you are found lacking in love, purity, goodness, service to others, forgiveness; then you wil; find yourself in at least a similar realm as that which you lived by on earth (the testing grounds for your spirit in your trying to reach up to God). Either the pharoahs are waiting to be reborn and try again, or they have already been born on earth again, and may have continued to progress.
This all depends on who is most willing to change their heart, and these type will receive a chance on earth first.
The next realm above this one is that Paradise that Christ promised to bring all to who proved themselves faithful, pure and unwilling to anymore follow lucifer. This is the reason for earth - as a school for us, the fallen spirits of "Paradise (Eden)" who fell with lucifer to the "earth" or the "outer darkness", to redeem ourselves with asking the King of Heaven, Christ, for forgiveness of our rebellon.
all is well. Christ is victorious ! and we are free to return to Heaven. !
