It entailed a cat (not garfield) on tv when I was little, it had to have been at least fifteen years ago, if not a few years longer than that. All I remember was the cat on the sidewalk walking along, getting into trouble (animated obviously) and he loved fish, he absolutely loved fish, like garfield loves lasanga. It's been driving me nuts for years, and I've never been able to find out what the cartoon was called. Please help!!

Others have beaten me in posting the correct answer, but for the record, Heathcliff did have his own syndicated cartoon about the same time Garfield was prowling around CBS Saturday mornings.

Dude I so know what your talking about. Its that cat that was like a street cat and he like ran from the cops and lived in a trash can. Unfortunatly I can't remember the name of it either.

well i know he also runs in comic ;s on sunday heathcliff was his name i spelled it wrong but that it yeah that i think i may speel it right but i watch it too and read the comic's in sunday chicago sun times it great
