We looked better than expected against Oakland!

Teams better not take the Lions too lightly. Kitna has a shiny new weapon in Calvin Johnson and Jones and Bell could be very solid. They also have a fortified offensive line, but mostly Kitna is more comfortable in his 2nd year in Offensive Cooridinator Mike Martz's system. Let's not forget, he did throw for 4,208 yards last season, 4th most in the league! Kitna has been predicting a 10 win season. I think that may be a little too optimistic, but 8 wins is certainly not out of reach.

Just winning on the road really surprised me. They played well, but divisional wins will still be tough. They should compete well against Minn and GB. I'd say 6 wins this year..7 if they get hot. That may seem like a bad record still, but that would be a vast improvement over last years 3-13 mark. Good luck...I hope you guys nail the Bears!

I say 8-8, but look for improvement for years to come. Arguably the best receiving core in football (maybe next to indy, but then again Peyton is throwing). Calvin Johnson is going to lead league in receiving within the next 3 years. They need to beef up their O-line and maybe get a solid TE option. QB - we'll see.

Go Lions!

6-10 to 7-9. Good Offense but the defense wont be able to stop the Browns from scoring. They made last years worst offensive team look somewhat decent

Great, if they could play Oakland 16 times. However they will have to play some decent teams, so as usual they will suck.

Probably about the same as they do every year. The Thanksgiving Day game will be good for the Lions this year.

Yeah you did. Detroit showed me they got some skills. I will not be surprised if your offense puts up some fat #'s this year. I think this is your year. Not because of one win, but i just looked in my magic 8-ball and it agreed. Enjoy the it, it's been a long time comming.

Considering you dismantled the top pass defense in the country.....I gotta give you props. Keep it up, and solidify your own D, and you guys might slide a wild card. More will be toughto say, till I see 'em play Chicago. But...it was a very nice start.
