Did you make any mistakes at first?
I did...and boy did a few people "slam" me :)

That reminds me. When people ask if I slept well, I say "I think I made a few mistakes."

My first thought was, literally, 'Yahoo'!!!
I am not sure if I made a lot of mistakes, probably, because I'm extra good at mistakes, but I enjoyed myself so much I didn't mind if people corrected me ~ and still don't :-)
As for anyone who was or is nasty, they are FAR oputnumbered by the really nice, informative, witty and amusing people ay Y!A :-)

I was a regular on the Yahoo News Message Boards. When they closed them down i had no choice but to come here.
Those message boards were ten times better than yahoo answers...i did some great trolling there!

Like any new thing, answers took a while to find the forums best suited. I found Society and Culture, Cultures and Groups, LGBT and was given a song that enabled me to weep for the loss of my beloved and to really recover.

didn't know anyone could make mistakes on here.
I just saw it as a way for people to learn from each others' experiences, or at the very least get an answer to their question that could be helpful.

i thought the idea was cool. i didn't make any mistakes because i had actually been a reader of Y!A for about a 2 months before i became a member. i kinda caught on that way.

I thought it was really fun! I prefer Polls and Surveys because the people are more relaxed and fun!
I laughed so hard at some of the stuff I read here!
I invited my son to come on board and he has joined.
It beats Myspace for fun and variety.

at first I was kind of curious, and I wanted to try it out. I browsed a few categories and then I thought it was really cool so I signed up.

my life is now complete.
my bigest mistake is not spelling realy good. alot of people are real jerks about that. you really get slamed hard over that.
i also learn't that if you title your question kind of sexually you get more answers. like say you want to know if your knee is alright. instead of askeing. is my knee ok? ask. is it suppose to hurt this bad the first time? you get so many more responses.
