I'm not doing anything bad, like looking at porn or anything, I just don't want the IT guys to know all about my personal life. There's really no way for them to see the site I visit without looking at my computer, right?

If you go through their network, they know where you go.

If your company is like the one I work then yes they can. They do not allow direct access to the internet but rather through a VPN via the companies proxy servers and filters.
If you have not been denied access to date then they more than likely are not monitoring you.

no, they can still see what sites u have been looking at, same as if you were on a work comp
